A Tribute to Our Nation’s Heroes & Their Families

On Sunday, February 12th, 2012 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. Kaleidoscope will be hosting, A Tribute to Our Nation’s Heroes & Their Families. The event will kick off with our National Anthem to be performed by the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing Band. Other performances to include the synchronized ice-skating team, The Ice’Kateers, dance performances from Cal Elite’s Classical Contemporary Ballet Company and a musical patriotic performance from OCHSA Music theatre soloists and guitarist.

12:00 to 12:30    3rd Marine Aircraft Wing Band - Miramar
12:30 to 12:45    Cal Elite Classical Contemporary Ballet Company & OCHSA Music Theatre soloists and guitarist to perform patriotic music
1:00 to 1:30    Guest Speaker - Jay Kopelman, “Freedom Is Not Free” board member, retired Lieutenant Colonel from the Marines & Former FA/18 pilot, combat veteran, and bestselling author of "From Baghdad With Love"
1:30 to 1:45       Performance by the Ice'Kateers
1:45 to 2:00       Speech from newly-elected Mayor,
Frank Ury
2:00 to 2:15       Speech of thanks from Colby Durnin,
CEO of Sentinel Development
2:15 to 3:00       Book signing by Jay Kopelman
